The Maryland Department of Information Technology has awarded the Maryland Consulting and Technical Services II (CATS II) contract as a follow on to the very successful CATS I contract. The CATS II contract vehicle provides Maryland state agencies with the flexibility to obtain IT resources quickly and efficiently by issuing Task Order Requests for Proposals (TORFP) or Requests for Resumes (RFR) specific to their needs. The CATS II Master Contract will run concurrently with the existing Consulting and Technical Services (CATS I) Master Contract, and will replace it upon its expiration date of December 31, 2010.
